The St. Croix Center For The Arts or "The ArtBarn", as it is lovingly called, is housed on 6.5 acres of beautiful landscape and at the heart of it our cherished 120-year-old barn. Our historic barn houses a 150-seat theatre, a rental gallery for artists, and a meeting/lobby space.
Established in 1993, the artists who created the St. Croix Center for the Arts recognized the need for shared art resources in the river valley. Since then, The St. Croix Center for the Arts (St. Croix ArtBarn) has been serving Osceola and the surrounding communities with art classes, community theatre, rental space, gallery space, music, and special events.
Our fearless leader was born and raised in Osceola, WI. Brady adds a calm and collected presence at the Barn. He is inspirational and always ready for a good laugh. Brady had a life-long involvement in the theatre from singing, acting, directing, and dance.
Jack has been an actor, director, designer, playwright, producer, and theatre teacher for more years than he'd like to admit. He met his wife, Cheryl, when she directed him in a play in 1980. Both of their daughters now make their living in the theatre.
Laurelei joined our board in 2019. She started revealing her true talents slowly. Once Gabby found Laurelei's costume design and sewing talent, she was quickly put to work on the most gigantic project of all, Disney's, "The Little Mermaid." Laurelei and her team knocked it outta the sea!
Jessica lives in Superior, WI but her "Happy Place" is a cabin on the lake in the St. Croix Valley. Jessica is mom to 2 young ladies who make every day a musical. She is a full-time Development Director for a small school in Superior, teaches knitting classes, and is a Pampered Chef Consultant.
Gabby first got involved with theatre because she had a crush on a boy whose skit got chosen for a third-grade play! Since then, Gabby has been lighting up the stage with her superb artistic abilities. Gabby's love for the theatre goes beyond the stage in teaching, recruiting, and tech. Gabby is a visionary for the ArtBarn.
Linda is the longest-serving member on our board. If there is a question about the ArtBarn history, this lady is on it! Linda is incredible at getting others excited and involved at the ArtBarn!
Jessica started out as an actor on the ArtBarn's stage and returned as our makeup artist and photographer! She has two redheaded nephews and one niece, all of whom she adores to bits. Her very first experiences at the Barn were seeing shows with her grandparents. Jessica is thrilled to continue to watch the ArtBarn flourish.
